Delete your Whatty account

This page lets you delete your Whatty account and its data without opening the app. (In the app: Account → Delete account.)

What happens

• Your one-to-one chats are deleted for both people, with their photos and files.
• In groups, everything you sent is deleted and you leave the group.
• Your contacts, blocks, notification address, login sessions and unused invite codes are deleted.
• Your name and username are replaced by "Deleted user". This can't be undone.

Reports made about you or by you are kept for safety, and backups may hold the data for up to about 30 days. Details are in the Privacy Policy.

Can't log in? Email whattychat@gmail.com from the address you gave the person who invited you, or ask them to vouch for you, and we'll help.
